The dual-layered sides of the tea set demonstrates the designer, Kengo Kuma’s, appreciation for an unexpected use of materials. The exterior base surface is silver, but oxidized black in color, with a criss-crossed latticework of gleaming silver juxtaposed above it.
This Japanese tea set, particularly designed for Matcha tea, consists of 5 pieces: a bowl/tea cup, a tea caddy, a whisk to stir with, a tea scoop and a serving tray.
