Bringing some of the beauty of a frozen ice flower into your home at Christmas time, this stunning 18 karat gold plated small bowl is perfect for serving seasonal treats or candies. Set on a table or windowsill, it could also be used to hold a candle as the light gives off a warm glow reflected in the shiny golden surface.
When asked to create the 2020 Georg Jensen Christmas Collectibles, Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg looked to the wonders of nature in winter as a starting point. Both the beautiful floral photographs of early 20th century photographer Karl Blossfeldt and the frosty flowers in her very own winter garden were used to inspire a collection of decorations that bring a contemporary twist to the Yuletide season.
The small bowl is beautifully made from stainless steel which is then plated in 18 karat gold in Georg Jensen’s own workshop in Denmark. It is suitable for holding edible Christmas treats.
